Ukraine has returned the bodies of 503 fallen soldiers from Russian-controlled territories, according to the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War.

The bodies of 403 fallen soldiers were returned from the Donetsk sector, 12 from the Luhansk sector, and 57 from the Zaporizhzhia sector. Additionally, 31 bodies were brought back from morgues located in Russian territory.

The Coordination HQ, in collaboration with expert institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, promises to identify the deceased as quickly as possible.

On October 18, Ukraine retrieved the bodies of 501 fallen soldiers, most of whom died in Donetsk Oblast.

On November 8, following repatriation efforts, Ukraine retrieved the bodies of 563 fallen soldiers.
