During the second day of negotiations in Abu Dhabi, the delegations of the United States, Ukraine, and Russia agreed to exchange 314 prisoners, the first such exchange in five months. This was stated by Special Envoy of the US President Steve Witkoff .
"This result was achieved through detailed and productive peace talks. While much work remains to be done, these steps demonstrate that sustained diplomatic engagement is producing tangible results and advancing efforts to end the war in Ukraine," he said .
