On the night of December 31, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Tuapse Oil Refinery in Russia's Krasnodar Territory and a number of other enemy targets. About reported General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Tupsa refinery is one of the ten largest in Russia. The company is export-oriented with a refining capacity of about 12 million tons per year. It is also part of the Russian "energy rear" – it produces motor gasoline of various brands, naphtha (raw material for petrochemicals), diesel fuel, fuel oil and is involved in supplying the occupying army.

At the same time, the Special Operations Forces attacked tamanneftegaz oil and gas terminal near the village of Volna on the Taman Peninsula in Krasnodar Krai. Two berths with standers of the oil terminal were confirmed to have been hit.

It is noted that this complex is one of the largest in the Black Sea region in terms of storage and transshipment of oil cargo. It ensures the transit of large volumes of oil both abroad and for domestic users in Russia.

At night, attack drones also successfully attacked the federal state-owned Temp facility in Rybinsk, Yaroslavl region of the Russian Federation. This is a Rosrezerves oil depot that stores, receives, releases, and accounts for Russia's strategic reserves, including petroleum products. A large-scale fire is observed at the facility.

The extent of damage to the enemy's energy rear is being clarified, the General Staff noted.

In addition, the Defense Forces attacked a temporary riverboat basing point near Olenivka in the temporarily occupied Crimea and destroyed enemy ammunition depots near the settlements of Blyzhne and Siyatel in Donetsk region.
