Kharkiv hit with S-300 missiles overnight, nine droned downed in Ukraine
Russia hit the city of Kharkiv in eastern Ukraine with nine S-300 air defence missiles and launched ten Iranian kamikaze drones late on Thursday, in another attack on Ukraine.
According to a Ukrainian Armed Forces stament, over the past day, Russian launched 11 missile strikes and four air strikes, as well as fired 43 times from multiple launch rocket systems.
Overnight, nine S-300 missiles were fired at civilian infrastructure in Kharkiv, and ten Shahed-136 drones were used in a separate attack, with nine downed by Ukraine air defences.
"The likelihood of further missile and air strikes across Ukraine remains high," the Armed Forces of Ukraine warned.
Russia regularly attacks Kharkiv and the region, as well as settlements in other regions near the front line, as Russian forces can strike them with S-300 and S-400 systems and rocket artillery.
