In the near future, the Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko will present candidates to replace the head of the State Border Guard Service instead of Serhiy Deyneko. This was announced by the president. Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Klymenko reported to the President on the work of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system. In particular, they discussed the activities of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, which has been headed by Deyneka for over six years.

"The State Border Guard Service has come a long way in its development and strengthening. Currently, border guard units, along with all other components of the Defense and Security Forces, are fighting for our country on the front lines. The sections of Ukraine's border with Belarus and Russia have also been significantly reinforced," Zelenskyy said.

However, there is currently a task to change the approaches in the work of the State Border Guard Service. This was also discussed with Deyneko himself. The President instructed to find other candidates for the position of head of the border guard service, and Deyneko will continue to work in the Ministry of Internal Affairs system.
