Zaporizhzhia region suffered a power outage as a result of Russian strikes on Thursday evening, February 5. About it reported ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhya regional military administration.
He said that private houses were damaged as a result of enemy strikes.
In addition, about 12,000 subscribers in the region were cut off from electricity.
Fedorov said that as soon as the security situation allows, the crews will start restoring power.
Air alert remains in place in Zaporizhzhia region. Almost continuously during the second half of the day, the UMA reported the threat of enemy drones and guided aerial bombs.
- On February 4, 2026, Fedorov reported that as a result of another of the Russian attack 53,098 consumers in the right-bank part of Zaporizhzhia and the region were cut off from electricity.
- Russia also attacked Zaporizhzhia on February 3. Then two people were killed – An 18-year-old boy and a girl. More than 10 other people were injured.
