People in Belgorod complain of a "massive missile attack" and interruptions in electricity, water and heat supply
In the Russian city of Belgorod, interruptions in electricity, heating and water supply were recorded due to night shelling. This was reported by the governor of the Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov, the mayor of Belgorod Valentin Demidov and local residents in social networks.
At night, Gladkov wrote about "serious damage" caused by shelling.
Later, he clarified that "a large amount of damage" to the energy infrastructure was recorded in Belgorod, Belgorod, Rokytianske, Borysivka, Hraivoronske, and Yakovlevske districts.
As of the morning, "it was not possible to fully restore electricity supply" in Belgorod.
The water utility of Belgorod region reported overnight that after the rocket attack, there was a power outage at several water utility facilities in Belgorod, and a number of water supply facilities in the Borisov district were also de-energized. In the morning, water supply was restored.
