Four officers organized a service for recruiting "dead souls" and earned over UAH 7 million
Four officers of one of the military units organized a "service of dead souls" for which they were suspected by the Odesa Specialized Defense Prosecutor's Office of the Southern Region. This was reported by and the Office of the Prosecutor General.
Former commander of a separate electronic warfare battalion, his deputy, deputy unit commander for logistics and company commander are suspected.
According to the investigation, they issued fictitious conscription of citizens for service and received payments and other support for them. In total, 60 fictitious servicemen were "called up", for which more than UAH 7.7 million was charged from the state budget.
Also, the products that the defendants sold to the "military" were allocated to the "military".
All four are suspected of misappropriation of property by abuse of office.
