It's official. Ukrainian Flamingo missiles hit Russian Defense Ministry arsenal near Volgograd
On the night of February 12, Ukrainian Flamingo missiles hit the arsenal of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate (GRAU) of the Russian Defense Ministry in Volgograd region. This was reported to by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Ukrainian military confirms strikes on Kotluban – Russian arsenal of complex storage of missiles, ammunition and explosives was hit by FP-5 Flamingo long-range missiles.
This arsenal is one of the largest ammunition storage sites for the Russian army.
Powerful explosions with subsequent secondary detonation were recorded at the site. Local authorities reported the evacuation of residents of the village.
The General Staff also reported that the Michurinsk Plant Progress, a company producing high-tech equipment for aviation and missile systems, was hit in Michurinsk, Tambov region of the Russian Federation. The company is involved in supplying the Russian army.
According to preliminary information, a fire broke out on the territory of the plant.
The General Staff also reported that enemy ammunition depots were destroyed on the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhia region near the settlements of Terpinnya and Rozivka.
In addition, it has been confirmed that as a result of damage to the Volgograd refinery on February 11, the main primary oil refining unit ELOU-AVT-1 was damaged, and elements of AVT-3 and infrastructure facilities on the territory were damaged. Other facilities, including secondary refining, have reduced their load or have been shut down.
