Sibiga announces expulsion of two Hungarian diplomats from Ukraine
They have to leave Ukraine within 48 hours, Foreign Minister emphasizes
Ukraine has decided to expel two Hungarian diplomats in response to Budapest's actions. This was reported by as stated by Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga.
According to him, two Hungarian diplomats have to leave Ukraine within 48 hours.
Sibiga said that the Hungarian ambassador was invited to the Foreign Ministry and handed a note.
"We are acting in response to Hungary's actions, based on the principle of reciprocity and our national interests," the head of Ukrainian diplomacy emphasized.
Earlier in the day, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto announced the expulsion of two Ukrainian diplomats, accusing them of espionage.
