The situation around Dronivka is getting more complicated – Russia is amassing forces in Serebryanyi Forest and Siversk
The situation around Dronivka in Sloviansk district of Donetsk region is getting more complicated, the enemy continues to accumulate resources. About reported soldiers of the 81st separate airmobile Slobozhanska brigade.
The Ukrainian military are engaged in a positional battle to hold the village and continue to inflict losses on Russians in manpower and equipment. To storm Dronivka, Platonivka and Zakitne and establish control over them, the occupiers are amassing resources in Serebryansky Forest and Siversk on a daily basis.
According to the military, the enemy's main task on this section of the front is to control the coastal areas of the Siversky Donets and gain a foothold on the dominant heights. If successful, the enemy will be able to attack the rear of the Defense Forces.
The enemy's tactics are unchanged: small groups of two occupants are trying to infiltrate the 81st Airmobile Brigade's interposition space. In order to be invisible, the Russians use anti-thermal cloaks at night and camouflage robes and adverse weather conditions during the day.
Paratroopers are detecting and attacking the enemy around the clock. In particular, anti-aircraft crews are destroying Russian reconnaissance and attack drones that are constantly hitting the positions of Ukrainian defenders. This week, unmanned systems units detected and destroyed an enemy S3 Acacia self-propelled artillery system that Russians were trying to disguise in the Serebrianka forestry.
- According to the American center CSIS, Russia's progress is "sluggish" on the frontline in Ukraine: from 15 to 70 meters per day. The Center also estimated losses on both sides.
