On the night of December 30, Ukrainian defenders struck at the occupiers' logistics hub in Donetsk airport. Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces Robert Brovdi (Magyar) reported about the destruction of the base where the invaders stored, equipped and prepared for launching drones of the Shahed, Geranium and Gerbera types.

→ Geranium/Shahed drone logistics hub;

→ pre-flight training and maintenance center for Geraeus, Shaheds and Gerber;

→ the central warehouse of the combat unit for the unmanned aerial systems "Geranium" and "Shahed";

→ storage warehouse of unmanned aerial vehicles "Gerbera";

→ a point of concentration of enemy personnel and technical staff engaged in the preparation and technical pre-launch maintenance of Geranium, Shahed and Gerber drones.

The operation was developed by the Intelligence Directorate of the 414th separate brigade of the Magyar Birds of the Armed Forces of Ukraine together with the newly created center for deep strikes of the Unmanned Systems Forces Group.

  • This is not the first time the base has been hit in the temporarily occupied Donbas – the previous strike was inflicted on the evening of November 5. At that time, more than 90% of the launched UAVs reached their target.
