On the night of July 12 and in the morning, Russia attacked Ukraine with drones and missiles, causing fires and damaging buildings in Lviv and Lutsk, explosions were also heard in Chernivtsi region, and a defunct enterprise caught fire in Kharkiv. Local authorities reported on the consequences.

In Lviv, explosions were heard in several districts, a two-story residential building on Metropolitan Andriy Street was hit, , said Mayor Andriy Sadovyi. According to the head of the regional military administration Maxim Kozitsky, the entrance to the building was partially destroyed, and gas and water leaked.

In Zaliznychnyi district, the roof of a non-residential building burned down over an area of about 200 square meters. Several buildings, including residential ones, a kindergarten were damaged, many windows were smashed, and dozens of cars were damaged.

The contact network has also been cut. As a result, trolleybuses #22, 30 and 32 will not run in the city in the morning. There is also a hit on Olena Stepanivna Street.

"According to preliminary information, there are no casualties. Residents were in shelters. Several people received first aid on the spot," the mayor said .

In Lutsk, a private residential building was actually destroyed, , Mayor Ihor Polishchuk told. As a result of the attack, windows in some houses were blown out by the blast wave and debris, and a car caught fire. Other information about the damage is still being clarified.

There is no information about the dead, and Polishchuk did not report any injuries.

In the early morning hours, Russia attacked Kharkiv with eight drones and two guided aerial bombs, according to the mayor Igor Terekhov. The main strike was on an enterprise that has not been operating for several years – several warehouse buildings caught fire. One of the drones also hit a critical infrastructure facility.

In Kyivskyi district, several residential buildings had their windows smashed, several cars and the city's power grid were damaged. According to data from the head of the OVA , Oleh Syniehubov, , two people were injured: men aged 55 and 33, they were hospitalized.

Ruslan Zaparanyuk, head of the Chernivtsi Regional Military Administration, , told, that there was a danger of drones being used in the city, and that air defense was in place. Also, according to him, the occupiers launched missiles toward the west of Ukraine.
