In some Ukrainian regions, the scope of restrictions applied on Sunday was less than on Saturday. This was achieved due to the round-the-clock work of power engineers to eliminate the consequences of the enemy attack. About said national energy company "Ukrenergo".

The consequences of two massive attacks on the power grid this week are being eliminated. The situation in the power system remains difficult. The level of power deficit and damage to the transmission and distribution networks do not allow us to cancel emergency blackouts in most regions.

"Thanks to the round-the-clock work of power engineers, in some regions the volume of restrictions applied today is less than yesterday," the statement said.

Currently, power engineers are trying to restore the equipment damaged by the Russians. Restoration is underway both at power plants and at high-voltage substations that provide power to nuclear power plants. Nuclear generation is still partially unloaded, the company said.

Ukrenergo reminded that the previously published schedules of hourly blackouts in most regions are not valid. They will return to them as soon as the situation in the power system stabilizes.
