On the night of October 22, Russia massively attacked Ukraine with "shaheds". There are consequences in Kyiv and Zaporizhzhia – high-rise buildings caught fire because of the enemy attacks. This was reported to by Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, Head of the City Military Administration Timur Tkachenko, as well as Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov and State Emergency Service .

After 06:00, Klitschko reported that a fire broke out in a 10-story residential building in the Desnianskyi district as a result of falling debris.

There are also preliminary reports of shrapnel hitting a high-rise building in the Pechersk district. In the same area, debris fell in the yard of a residential building. As a result, cars caught fire.

Also, a fire broke out in Holosiivskyi district after the explosion.

The fall of debris was also recorded in the yard of a residential building in Dniprovsky district. In the same area, the blast wave smashed the windows of a residential building.

Tkachenko reported one dead in the attack in Dniprovsky district. Later – about another one.

Zaporizhzhia attacked by Russians from 01:30 to 01:47, injuring 13 people.

Several fires have been reported.

In particular, balconies on four floors of the building were on fire. Four balconies in a five-story building also caught fire. Another fire was a fire on the roof of a high-rise building.

Preliminary, Russians have struck nine times with "shaheds" in the city.
