Currently, most deferrals from mobilization are extended automatically – new categories of citizens have been added to the list of those who fall under this mechanism. About this wrote Ministry of Defense.

"The Ministry of Defense has expanded the list of categories of deferrals from mobilization that are subject to automatic extension. Now 90% of the issued deferrals are extended without applications, certificates, queues or any additional actions on the part of the person," the statement said.

According to the Ministry, the next automatic extension of deferrals – both those that were issued through the Reserve+ application and those that were submitted through Administrative Service Centers (ASCs) – took place until February 2.

This time, the mechanism includes seven other categories of deferrals, listed by the Defense Ministry:

→ parents raising a seriously ill child who does not have a disability;

→ people caring for a seriously ill family member;

→ guardians of a person recognized as incapacitated;

→ those who have a spouse with a group III disability;

→ people caring for a second- or third-degree relative with a disability;

→ parents raising a child under the age of 18 on their own;

→ school teachers.

The agency emphasized that the automatic extension of the deferral remains in place for 14 categories of citizens to be determined in the fall of 2025.

The Ministry of Defense added that Reserve+ users who fall into these categories should receive a push notification about the planned auto-renewal, and after processing the data, they should receive a message that the extension has already been renewed.

"If you do not receive a notification, it means that there is insufficient or outdated data in the state registers. In this case, you need to submit the documents to any convenient ASC. Territorial recruitment and social support centers (TCC) are no longer accepting applications for deferral from citizens," the Defense Ministry reminded.
