"Drone Line" merged with the Unmanned Systems Forces

All military units of the "Drone Line" project of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been united with the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in one group. This is reported by the SBS.

The Joint Group was created to increase the efficiency of management, transform the Forces, and adapt to the requirements of modern warfare.

"For the first time, the units will operate within a single vertical of control — with a defined structure, clear interaction, and a common vision of the tactics of using drones," the report says.

This will ensure the implementation of unified approaches, coordination of actions, and more systematic combat use of unmanned systems.

The group is commanded by SBS commander Robert "Magyar" Brody .

The SBS reported that the unification is one of the key stages in the implementation of the 100-day plan for the development of unmanned systems forces.

ADDED AT 18:21. As reported by Brovdy, the 100-day development plan of the SBS is scheduled for September 18.

The creation of a unified SBS group is the basic stage of the plan, which will provide:

- a single plan;

- the implementation of unified approaches in intelligence, planning, tactics of use, calculations of costs and needs, a reporting/verification system for all drone applications, not just hits, operational analysis of the effectiveness of the use of drones and ammunition and as a result – a departure from paper reporting and the formation of the real need for drones and ammunition. From the crew level to the command level;

- coherence of actions;

- systematic combat use of unmanned systems, rational placement of the group's units in line with the challenges of the front.

• Earlier, in an interview with LIGA.net, the commander of the 429th separate regiment "Achilles", which is part of the "Drone Line", Yuriy Fedorenko expressed the opinion that the units of the "Drone Line" project should be subordinated to the command of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This will ensure "echeloned defeat of the enemy."
