General Staff confirms Ukrainian strikes on Russian oil refinery in Kuban
On the night of January 26, units of the Defense Forces hit the infrastructure of the Slaviansk Eco oil refinery in Sloviansk-on-Kuban, Krasnodar Territory, Russia. This was reported to by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
UAV strikes on the territory of the plant and explosions in the target area were recorded. According to preliminary information, elements of the primary oil refining unit were damaged.
The annual possible processing capacity of this enterprise is more than 4 million tons of oil. This plant is part of the energy rear of the Russian Federation and is involved in supplying the aggressor's armed forces, the General Staff emphasized .
The Russian operational headquarters of Krasnodar Krai reported the attack, claiming that "fragments" of the UAV fell on the territory of two enterprises in Sloviansk-on-Kuban. Russian Defense Ministry counted 34 drones over Krasnodar Krai that night.
The General Staff also reported that the logistics warehouses of the invaders' units in the temporarily occupied territories – in Donetsk and Solodkovodne village, Zaporizhzhia region – were damaged.
Ukrainian strikes on the UAV control center of the unit near Velyka Novosilka in the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region, as well as on enemy concentrations near Yunakivka in Sumy region and Kolisnykivka in Kharkiv region, were also confirmed. The number of destroyed and wounded occupants is being established.
- This is not the first attack on the Slaviansk Eco plant: Ukraine attacked it in March 2024 and in November 2025 .
