The Omega-West Special Forces detachment of the National Guard of Ukraine published footage of an operation to blow up a building with occupants in Rodynske, Donetsk region. The soldiers shared the details of this operation in a comment LIGA.net.

A fighter with the Omega-Zakhid special forces unit with the call sign Brodyaga said that the special forces were conducting search and strike operations in Rodynske, Pokrovsk district. The military received intelligence that Russians were entrenched in a building in one of the quadrants.

"On the approach to the sector where they [the enemy] were located, we noticed movement, some of the enemies were changing their position. We neutralized two of them with small arms when they were running across the street. Then we continued to search for the rest of the enemy's positions where they could have been entrenched," the fighter said.

At the site, the unit discovered two buildings where the occupiers had managed to gain a foothold. The Special Forces took up positions to defeat the occupiers and ordered their neighbors to move out from the flank so that the Russians could not maneuver and change their position.

As a result, one house, where the enemy was staying, was set on fire by a bomber. The second one was destroyed by mining with TM-62.

"In the process, we suppressed the enemy's fire to be able to prepare the mining equipment. After the TM-62 was prepared and deployed, our sapper moved to the building under the cover of our forces. Our snipers were also watching the windows from remote positions," the military said.

After the mine was detonated, the unit retreated to a safe distance and waited for the explosion.

"After the explosion, we could see a good effect: the building was made of gas block, so it was blown clean, and the occupants were destroyed," the fighter added.

A group from General Kulchytsky's battalion also operated with Omega.

The military did not specify when the operation was carried out.
