On the night of January 30, Russia did not hit energy facilities, but attacked gas infrastructure

On the night of Friday, January 30, the Russians did not strike at energy facilities, but dropped guided aerial bombs on gas infrastructure in Donetsk region. This was stated in the evening video message reported president Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

"The day started with reports from the regions: there were no attacks on energy facilities in all our regions since Friday night. Almost none. Except for Donetsk region, where there was one strike on the gas infrastructure and an air strike," the President said.

The President emphasized that currently there are russia's reorientation to strike at logistics and junction stations. In particular, one of the railroad cars was hit Ukrzaliznytsia, a special power plant car. It happened in the morning in the Dnipropetrovs'k region.

Earlier that day, it was reported that as a result of Russian shelling the main gas pipeline in Kramatorsk district of Donetsk region was damaged. As a result, there is a risk of gas supply disruption.
