Explosions were heard in Dnipro at around 11:30. Ukraine's Air Force neither confirmed nor denied the information about the attack with a guided bomb.

The strike was launched from the territory of Zaporizhzhia region. The air target was launched from a tactical aircraft, flew over 100 km and was shot down by air defense outside the city of Dnipro.

"The type of air target will be determined after examining the wreckage at the crash site," the Air Force said.

However, the head of the Dnipro regional administration, Serhiy Lysak, , said, that it was indeed a new Grom-E1 bomb, and the explosion was the sound of it being shot down.

"Thanks to the defenders of the sky for shooting down the latest Grom-1 missile bomb," he wrote.

It is a hybrid of a guided aerial bomb and a missile developed on the basis of the X-38 missile. Grom-E1 has a range of up to 120 km.
