Intelligence has named ten Russian teachers who moved to the temporarily occupied territories for the so-called "ideological re-education" of Ukrainian children. About this reported The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine on the War & Sanctions portal.

According to intelligence, the Kremlin continues to spread the all-Russian program "Zemsky Teacher" in the temporarily occupied regions. As part of the program, teachers from different parts of the world move to the temporarily occupied Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Luhansk, and Kherson regions, where they teach a Russian curriculum with propaganda narratives in local schools.

According to the GUR, these regions have been identified by the Russian authorities as "priority" for the program." Teachers who move there are paid double compensation payments of 2 million rubles (about $25,000). However, some of them participate in this for personal and ideological reasons.

The Kremlin's goal is to create a controlled educational environment in the occupied territories, to re-educate Ukrainian children and to form a Russian identity in them.

Russian language and literature teacher Tatyana Yuelaborodova moved to the village of Komyshuvate, Mariupol district, Donetsk region, from the Khabarovsk Territory of the Russian Federation. As the intelligence service found out, she wanted to be "closer to her husband," who is fighting against Ukraine.
