Russia hits five-story building in Chernihiv: one victim and eight wounded – video

On the afternoon of December 25, Russians attacked a five-story building in Chernihiv and a critical infrastructure facility. This was reported to by the head of the city's military administration, Dmytro Bryzhynsky.

Suspilne Chernihiv reported an explosion in the city at 12:56. The Air Force warned about the movement of an enemy drone toward the city.

Later, it was reported that a house was hit, causing a fire in an apartment. The enemy also attacked a critical infrastructure facility.

UPDATED AT 16:05. The head of the regional military administration Vyacheslav Chaus reported that the drone hit an apartment on the third floor of a five-story building, the destruction is significant. People were at home at the time.

The deceased is an 80-year-old woman. The number of injured has increased to eight people, including three in serious condition. Firefighters are extinguishing the fire, other services are also working on the scene.

UPDATED AT 20:30. Rescuers reported that they have completed emergency and search operations at the site of a hostile drone strike on a residential building. The number of injured has increased to nine people.
