France 24: Ukraine receives French Rodeur attack drones with a range of up to 500 km

The French company EOS Technologie has provided Ukraine with several Rodeur 330 attack drones. They can cover up to 500 kilometers and stay in the air for up to five hours. About reported France 24 with a link to the manufacturer.

According to the company's president, Jean-Marc Zuliani, the drone can perform both reconnaissance and strike missions in the format of a kamikaze drone.

It can be used for surveillance, data collection, or targeting. The company notes that in the context of the war in Ukraine, this drone is used as a means of striking.

"Ukrainians have accumulated a unique global experience," Zuliani said.

He said that Kyiv currently needs "technology more" than equipment. For Western manufacturers, this is an opportunity to test equipment in the field, the company president added.

Zuliani emphasized that Ukraine has gained unique combat experience during the war, and now it needs technology above all. According to him, this is also an opportunity for Western manufacturers to test drones in real combat conditions.

The Rodeur 330 kamikaze drone has a wingspan of 3.3 meters and a maximum takeoff weight of 25 kg. The payload is 4 kg for a distance of up to 500 km. The cruising speed of the drone is 120 km/h.
