Russians launch missile and drone strike on Kharkiv: there are victims, one of the hits was on a school

On the evening of Monday, January 26, Russian invaders launched a missile and drone strike on Kharkiv, causing injuries and damage. This was reported by the mayor, Ihor Terekhov.
First, at 19:19, he reported about a Russian UAV attack on the Industrial District, and nine minutes later about a rocket attack on the city.
As of the time of publication, two people were reported injured in Kharkiv.
There is evidence of damage to residential high-rise buildings and a school in the Industrial district, Terekhov noted.
According to him, one of the hits was on a school building, and a kindergarten in the same area was also damaged.
Local resource Gwara Media wrote that after the Russian strikes, power was cut off in most parts of Kharkiv, and power surges were observed.
UPDATE at 23:40. Regional prosecutor's Office said that Russian strikes in Kharkiv damaged a power facility and set fire to a building of an educational institution.
In the latter, a security guard was wounded, and another employee had an acute stress reaction.
In addition, apartment buildings were damaged, the agency added.
