Gerasimov claims "street fighting" and "mopping up" in Kutkivka. Ukrainian Armed Forces denied it – video
Ukrainian military denies Russian claims about Kutkivka village near Kupiansk, Kharkiv region. Related post and video was published by 16th Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
They noted that the words of the chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov about the alleged "street fighting" and "mopping up" in Kutkivka were false.
"Kutkivka, which is located in the area of responsibility of the 16th Army Corps, is under the full control of the Defense Forces. No losses of positions have been reported," the command said.
The military noted that the enemy is trying to infiltrate in small groups, but the defenders timely detect and stop such attempts.
The soldiers of the 151st separate mechanized brigade effectively destroy groups of invaders on the outskirts of the village or when the occupiers are hiding in destroyed buildings, the corps added.
"The information about the "capture" of Kutkivka is another element of the enemy's information and psychological operations and has nothing to do with the real situation," the statement said.
The military also provided a video of Russian casualties in the village.
The Ukrainian analytical project Deepstate records that Kutkivka is under the control of Ukrainian defenders. The village is located northwest of the village of Dvorichna and north of the town of Kupiansk:

- The day before, the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation denied Gerasimov's statement about the alleged occupation of the settlement Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi.
