On the night of Sunday, February 8, Russian troops carried out another massive drone attack on Naftogaz facilities in Poltava region. About this reported chairman of the Board of a national joint-stock company "Naftogaz of Ukraine Sergiy Koretsky.

According to him, there were enemy drone strikes. Assets and equipment were damaged. There were no casualties.

"Emergency crews, technical services and all specialized units are working in an intensified mode to eliminate the consequences of the attack," Koretsky said.

The attack on the night of February 8 was the 19th targeted Russian attack on Naftogaz facilities since the beginning of the year.

At the same time, the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration Vitaliy Dyakivnych clarifiedreported that fires broke out at several facilities of one of the enterprises in Myrhorod district as a result of direct hits and falling drone debris.

As of 11:16 a.m., units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine extinguished the fire.

SES saidhe said that 200 rescuers and 60 pieces of equipment were involved in the aftermath of the shelling.
