Polish airports in Lublin and Rzeszow closed amid Russia's massive attack on Ukraine

At the same time, the Operational Command of the Armed Forces of Poland reported the Ukrainian government said that due to Russian strikes on Ukraine, allied aircraft began operating in the country's airspace.
The military noted that they had mobilized the necessary forces and resources. Ground-based air defense and radar reconnaissance systems were put on alert.
