  • Russia remains without bananas due to the full scale break in to Ukraine. The largest suppliers of this product cannot send it to Russian towns due to the sanctions.

  • The Head of Sumy Millitary Administration Dmiytro Zhyvytskiy announced in his video in Telegram that he was preparing the region to a possible chemical attack by the Russian occupiers army. According to the Head of RSA, they are working to provide the region with masks, respirators, and other protection means that can save people's lives.
  • During the month of the war, in Ukraine 54 railway workers have died, 64 workers have been injured in different ways. This was announced by the Head of Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railway) Oleksandr Kamyshin in Telegram.
  • At 10:00 a.m. March 26, the Russian occupiers plan to hold a paid meeting in the centre of Melitopol as if on the support of the occupiers regime. This is informed by the Security Service of Ukraine. According to the special service, 1200 Russian rubles are promised to be paid for participation in the meeting. The information was obtained by SSU from the intercepted conversations of the occupiers.
  • The mayor of Slavutych Yuriy Fomychev rejected gossips of the ill-wishers that he had run from the town that is blocked by the Russian occupiers. According to Fomychev, on March 25 it was difficult, the town was shelled. The Armed Forces of Ukraine pushed back the occupiers, but there are killed, their names are under specification.
  • The Russian occupiers army is concentrated to capture eastern regions of Ukraine, not Kyiv. They want to cut Ukrainian Forces in the east from the rest of the country, and then to use this advantage during negotiations. Reuters informs about this, citing a high ranking official in the Ministry of Defense of USA.
  • The Head of the Ministry of Defense of Czech Republic Jana Černochová will not go to Budapest at the meeting of Visegrád Group. The reason is the reject of Hungary to support Ukraine and sanctions implementation against Russia. She wrote this in Twitter.
  • On March 25 the Armed Forces of Ukraine did a missile strike on the occupiers vehicle, as well as the army and the logistics. This is informed by the Head of Air Forces of AFU at Facebook

Update from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: 25 March summary

The occupiers stuck to their previous tactics, regrouping their troops, replenishing losses, and continuing airstrikes on military and civilian installations on the territory of Ukraine.

The enemy kept suppressing the resistance of occupied localities’ residents opposing the invaders. Also, the Russians were trying to forcefully impose the Russian rouble as the main currency.

The enemy’s actions by direction were as follows:

There were no offensive actions in the direction of Volyn.

In the Polissia directions, the enemy continued shelling the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In the Novhorod-Siverskyi direction, the occupiers tried to hold the previously captured positions.

In the Slobozhanshchyna direction, the situation was the following: the enemy tried to gain footing in Sumy, kept shelling civilians’ homes in Kharkiv, and moved hardware and troops toward Izyum.

In the Donetsk direction, the occupiers were regrouping to continue their offensive and advance to the administrative borders of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

In the Southern Buh direction, the invaders restocked and prepared for offensive actions.

The use of Z as a symbol has been criminalized in the German federal state of Lower Saxony. According to Taggesschau, the German Ministry of Internal Affairs has published the resolution about it already.

“The prosecutors of Bavaria are taking concerted measures against the people who publicly support the aggressive war that breaches the international law,” State Minister of Justice Georg Eisenreich said.

On 25 March, Russian invaders carried out a missile strike on Oktyrka’s civilian installations, Head of Sumy Military Administration Dmytro Zhyvytskyi reports.

“Sadly, the shelling of Sumy city limits and outskirts continues. Today, Oktyrka was bombed again in the afternoon, and the dropped bomb did a lot of damage. Regretfully, Oktyrka suffers severe losses,” he emphasized.

According to Zhyvytskyi, it was Trostianets district that came under shelling again. A gas pipeline was damaged, there is a risk of gas supply to local households being disrupted.

President of Hungary Viktor Orbán has refused to help Ukraine in its defence against Russian occupational forces. He emphasized it in his Facebook statement.
