An informal spokesman for the Gostomel-based NGU Rapid Response Brigade, Haritin Starsky, writes that volunteers from Poland are travelling to Ukraine and bringing medical supplies for our troops.

Humanitarian corridors for civilians will be opened from Mariupol and Volnovakha today, Mykhaylo Podolyak, advisor to the Head of presidential office, has told to the Public Broadcasting channel.

Shelling of residential areas of the regional centre continued overnight in Kharkiv Region.

In Zhytomyr region there were alarms overnight and there is a hit in a factory.

In Sumy, air strikes have not stopped since the morning: Russians have been destroying residential areas and infrastructure facilities.

Lebedyn has been without electricity and communications for over 24 hours after airstrikes.

Trostianka is in its fifth day of invasion- it is the only town in the region that has been invaded by Russians. There is no food there and all shops have been looted.

In Okhtyrka part of the city was destroyed by Russian artillery, the rubble of our military unit, which was destroyed by the Russians, is being removed for the sixth day. The Russian air force also destroyed the thermal power plant: the city is without heat, electricity and water for the second day.

As for reports on the current situation in regions from the Region State Administration. Overall, the night was relatively quiet in most regions of Ukraine. No air-alarms or just some were signalling overnight in Rivne, Chernivtsi, Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Poltava, Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, Vinnitsa, Cherkasy, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil regions, and in Volyn, Kirovohrad and Odesa regions likewise .

Mariupol Mayor Vadim Boychenko said at 08:30 that "the timing of the opening of the humanitarian corridor and the beginning of the silence regime is underway", which will allow the restoration of the city's critical infrastructure - light, water and mobile communications - to begin.
