One more Russian captive. He joined the war against Ukraine for 60 000 rubles – a little more than $500.
The Security Service of Ukraine: “Do you know how much Russian officers are paid for the war in Ukraine? 60 thousand rubles – 550 dollars a month! Russia considers it to be a fair price for its invaders' lives, furthermore, it leaves them on their own afterwards! The Security Service of Ukraine posts another video of a captured occupier who confesses the fact that he joined the war to earn money. He was led not by the desire to win, but to give his family food to “devour”. The fact that it takes murders of the innocent Ukrainians is of no importance. The Security Service of Ukraine addresses all the Russian invaders: “You are not going to earn anything in Ukraine, but a piece of lead into your bodies! That is our land, and we are going to defend it as long as we can breathe! United we win!”

The Office of the President of Ukraine gave a comment to LIGA.net regarding Russia’s plans to establish a puppet regime with the former dictator on the run Victor Yanukovych at the helm. Mikhailo Podoliak, an advisor to the Office of the President of Ukraine, commented:
‘They are totally oblivious of what Ukraine is, of what kind of country it is. Russians have never had objective analytics of any description—this is the reason for these murderous decisions. Their propaganda’s tales about “people greeting Russian tanks with flowers” are the same sort of thing. In fact, there were no, even if isolated cases of this kind—only hate, brutal destruction of these tanks, and even people’s mass attempts to stop Russian equipment with their own bodies. They had false hopes that they will be greeted kindly in the country that despises invaders of any kind. Russian elites’ confidence that hundreds of thousands of nationalists are marching in our streets is the same kind of delusion. In short, there is nothing that they understand about Ukraine. Another aspect of this delightful story is the Yanukovych is an utter political corpse. He is a longtime outsider with a reputation so toxic that the mention of his name is a provocation in itself. It will definitely result in even stronger resistance. The same thing is true for Medvedchuk and Muraiev, by the way. These are undoubtedly negative actors with rock-bottom reputation. We are talking not just total lack of managerial skills and unparalleled stupidity of these people, but their complete incompatibility with the Ukrainian context,’ Podoliak said.

Our reader and subscriber from Kherson reports: "Kherson. The orcs have spread through the city: they are hungry, robbing grocery stores. They set up checkpoints at the key streets and exits from the city. There was shooting at night, territorial defense and other groups were fighting back. Russian artillery or tanks are shelling residential buildings. There are dead among the civilian population - the orcs fired just for fun. There’s no precise information about the losses amongst the orcs, they say about several burnt IFVs (infantry fighting vehicles). They shot up to 30 young guys who were trying to approach the equipment with Molotov cocktails. Shops opened in the afternoon, people walk around, but with great care. There is electricity and water supply in most areas. The orcs are very embittered, it is highly likely that they will shoot even at civilians."
Briefing by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba:
“[Aircraft for Ukraine from its Western allies] - it’s crucial for us. Our pilots are fighting like heroes in the air, they die but keep shooting Russian aircraft coming to bomb our cities and kill civilians. We are getting reports that the Russian aviation is attacking our country without having crossed our border. Russia is using its combat aviation as a true barbarian state. Of course, Ukraine needs support from its allies. And we have some progress with it. But we can’t wait. We don’t have weeks, we have days. We need to figure this out within a few days. It doesn’t mean that we are going to give up without aircraft. However, it does mean that we will keep taking casualties among civilians. Russia is bombing our cities in a very cynical manner. Meanwhile, we will keep fighting, of course. Glory to Ukraine!”
Briefing of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba:
‘Russia got its P-5 member seat in the UN Security Council under controversial circumstances, mildly speaking. For 30 years, this issue remained overlooked, even though we repeatedly inquired with the UN Secretariat about how it could happen. They just patted us on the shoulder as if saying “you know how it is”. No, we don’t anymore. We raise this issue to conduct a legal review to see on what account Russia remains a permanent member of the UN Security Council. We are convinced that once this legal review is complete, it will show that Russia is there illegally. Now, everything depends on the integrity of UN Secretariat lawyers and their willingness to investigate this issue.
Briefing by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba:
“Seven Russian banks will be disconnected from SWIFT. Without exaggeration, we gnawed out each of these banks with our teeth. We had to fight. But we were able to overcome the psychological barrier of partners and the first step was made. But rest assured: these are not the last banks which were disconnected from SWIFT. All banks in Russia must be disconnected from SWIFT. Otherwise all transactions that will be carried out via it, will be soiled in blood of Ukrainian children and women killed by Russian missile attacks. If someone resists to it, let them realize that they will trade on Ukrainian blood. We are grateful to the world for help, but there are fundamental things: morality and human lives."
Briefing of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba:
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has set up a dedicated website about Russian aggression against Ukraine —WAR.UKRAINE.UA There, we publish factual explanations and documented the Russians’ crimes, atrocities, and barbarisms, as well as celebrate the heroism of Ukrainian people. Please, share the link to this website. The media space is now a battlefield, too, and anyone can help us win.”
Briefing by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba:
“Ukraine, together with its partners, is running a campaign to deputinize the world. Contracts are being broken with Russians. It has become unacceptable to do business with them. From Gergiev, who was expelled from the Munich Orchestra, to Russia Today and Sputnik, which were banned by dozens of countries around the world. But the biggest processes are underway in trade and business. More than 100 global giant companies have already completely or partially stopped cooperating with Russia, or are planning to do so in the near future. Among them are the global postal service DHL, the largest cargo company Maersk, technology giants Apple, Google, Twitter, Lenovo, HP, Spotify, Dropbox, Tesla cars, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Toyota, Ford, Chevrolet, Audi Financial VISA, MasterCard, PayPal, NIKE clothing, Adidas.
Briefing by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba:
“Together with its partners, Ukraine leads a campaign on the world’s deputinization. Russians are becoming isolated. It is getting inappropriate to have any relations with them. The scale of it is immense: from artists like Valery Gergiev who has been banned from Munich Philarmonic to medias like Russia Today and Sputnik which have been blocked in dozens of countries. But the largest change is happening in the business sector. More than 100 world-leading companies have ceased their cooperation with Russia somehow, partly or fully, or they are planning to do so. Such companies include DHL, the largest logistics company Maersk, tech giants like Apple, Google, Twitter, Lenovo, HP, Spotify, Dropbox, Tesla, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Toyota, Ford, Chevrolet, Audi, financial companies like VISA, MasterCard, PayPal, as well as Nike, Adidas and many other famous brands.”

By now, the resolution was co-authored by 95 countries globally, and even more countries will vote for it.”
Briefing by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba:
“Europe has become, in fact, our rear support: there is a flow of military aid so that we can defeat the Russian invaders. Spain has announced that it will provide us with a large amount of defensive and offensive weapons. We have stepped up the European Peace Fund, under which military aid from EU countries will go in a systemic flow of hundreds of millions of euros. 38 countries have closed their airspace to Russian aircraft: the Russian plane now goes where “the Russian ship went.” Canada and the UK have closed their internal waters to any Russian ships.”
Briefing of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba:
“Russia is looking for workarounds to avoid the sanction noose. They managed to find three countries. We all know which ones, and together with partners, we are going to talk with these to dissuade them from helping the aggressor. A few hours ago, I talked to my British colleague Liz Truss. We discussed how to close any loopholes that may let Russia escape the sanction roller. We will literally strangle the Russian economy.”
Briefing of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba:
“Day by day, Russia is losing access to everything: the sky, the sea, trade, finance, technology, and the global economy. We are converting the world’s shock into concrete solutions that cripple Russia’s economy. While they destroy our cities, we are ruining their economy.”
Briefing by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba:
“Ukrainian diplomacy continues to work for victory. Our front is through all the capitals of the world. Key tasks: systemic strengthening of Ukraine's defense. The second is destruction of the Russian economy. The third is the deputinization of the world. We mobilized an international anti-war coalition of 86 countries and 15 organizations. 19 countries give weapons to Ukraine. Some of them are doing this for the first time in their history. 10 countries provide macro-financial assistance. 22 provide humanitarian aid. Volunteers from 16 countries of the world come to us, ready to fight with us against Russia. Applications keep coming.”
