Ukraine received a "green light" for close cooperation with the NATO Support and Procurement Agency, Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov announced on Twitter after a conversation with the Secretary General of the Alliance, Jens Stoltenberg, on Friday.

The two officials discussed a number of important projects, including cooperation with the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA). This will make it possible to receive "the best-in-the-league" advice for the Ministry of Defense, notes Reznikov.

"We need excellent defense procurement both to win the war and to be efficient in the future," he wrote.

The minister added that Ukraine has already reached an "unprecedented" level of interoperability with NATO.

"We are, de facto, already a part of the Alliance's security space. I expressed my hope that this would expedite political decisions regarding our country's NATO integration," Reznikov said.

On Thursday, Stoltenberg visited Kyiv on the eve of the meeting in the Ramstein format.

On Friday, Reznikov met with the Pentagon chief during the Ukraine Defense Contact Group meeting.
