During the night attack on July 4, Russia set a new anti-record – 550 air attack weapons were used, including more than 330 Shahed attack drones. This was reported by Yuriy Ihnat, head of the public relations service of the Air Force Command, during a telethon.

The main focus of the attack was Kyiv and the region.

"This is the largest amount the enemy has used in one attack," he said.

However, he noted that air defense managed to intercept many targets. In particular, two of the four Iskander-K/KN-23 cruise missiles, but six Iskander-M missiles were not intercepted.

Also, thanks to the "innovative technology" of the interceptor drones, dozens of Russian drones were shot down, Ihnat said. However, he explained that the technology is not really that innovative, as it has been used for a long time to intercept reconnaissance drones, but now it is also successfully working against attack UAVs.

  • On the evening of July 3, Russia attacked Kyiv with drones, debris fell in several districts, but no casualties or damage were reported.
  • However, at night, the enemy used missiles and drones to attack Ukraine, including the capital. Nine missiles and 63 drones hit, 478 targets were neutralized.
  • The attack in Kyiv has consequences in six districts, at least 23 people were wounded, including a 10-year-old child. Residential buildings, Ukrzaliznytsia, and cars were damaged.
  • Sibir's foreign minister is convinced that Putin deliberately organized a massive attack after talking to Trump.
