Russia attacks Lutsk and Kyiv region with missiles and drones: fires start, one wounded

On the night of July 9, Russia attacked Kyiv region and Lutsk. The enemy used drones and rockets, there is information about a casualty, said the head of Kyiv regional state administration Mykola Kalashnyk and the mayor of Lutsk Ihor Polishchuk.

The enemy attacked the Kyiv region with drones after midnight, air defense was in operation. In Brovary district, a woman born in 1980 was wounded, preliminary diagnosis – closed chest fracture. She was hospitalized.

As of 01:40, the enemy continued a massive UAV attack on Kyiv region.

Air defense was also operating in Kyiv, reported Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko. After midnight, drones were spotted over the capital, no information on the consequences of the attack is available.

The drones were spotted over Lutsk at 02:22, and around 03:00, Polishchuk reported to about a possible launch of a Kinzhal missile. At 03:38, 04:37, and 04:43, he reported more possible missile launches and a series of drones. Air defense was operating in the city.

The attack in Lutsk resulted in a fire and damaged garages in one of the garage cooperatives, and a fire broke out on the territory of one of the enterprises. Other damage is still being investigated .

"Today was the most massive enemy attack with the use of UAVs and missiles on our city and community," said the mayor .

As of the morning, there was no information about the deaths in the city.
