Head of the Center for Countering Disinformation Oleksandr Kovalenko denied information from the Russians that North Korean troops have begun fighting against Ukraine in the Zaporizhzhia sector.

"As of 9:00 a.m., Russian information about the appearance of the DPRK military in the Zaporizhzhia direction has not been confirmed," he wrote.

Prior to that, propaganda resources spread information that the DPRK military had been sent to the Huliaypol area allegedly after two months of training at training grounds. The enemy did not disclose the number of North Koreans allegedly involved, nor did it provide photo or video evidence.

The enemy also spread information about the alleged encirclement of some units of the Defense Forces in the Huliaypillia sector. But the Defense Forces on November 21 denied this is the same as the allegations of the presence of barrier detachments blocking the units and preventing them from retreating.
