The Ministry of Defense is verifying reports of a pause in the supply of American weapons. The US did not give any warning
Ukraine has drawn attention to information regarding delays in the delivery of some elements of previously allocated defense aid packages from the United States and is clarifying the current factual circumstances of the deliveries. This is how the Ministry of Defense reacted to information that Washington has paused the supply of some air defense missiles and ammunition.
According to the defense ministry, Ukraine has not received official notifications about the suspension or revision of the delivery schedules of agreed-upon aid.
"Therefore, we are proceeding based on factual data and verifying the details of each item in the supply. The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has requested a phone call with our US counterparts to clarify the details further," the statement said.
The results of the contacts with the USA will be reported additionally at the level of the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The ministry added that some individuals in Ukraine who are currently giving public comments on this situation, for objective reasons, do not possess all the factual data. The Ministry of Defence urged people to pay attention to official and verified information from reliable sources.
