President of the United States Donald Trump has once again said that he has "never been" to the island of the late financier Jeffrey Epstein, who is accused of sexual crimes. He said this said during a conversation with journalists in the Oval Office on February 2.

During the Grammy Awards on February 1, American comedian Trevor Noah, who hosted the event, mentioned Trump when singer Billie Eilish was announced as the winner of the Song of the Year nomination.

"It's a Grammy that every artist wants to win, much like Trump wants to own Greenland. It makes sense, because after Epstein's death, he needs a new island to spend time with Bill Clinton," joked Noah.

To this, Trump said aggregated on the social network Truth Social. He emphasized that he had "never been to Little St. James Private Island" and "never even been anywhere near it," and threatened the comedian with legal action. In another post he made later, Trump once again emphasizedwho "was never friends with Epstein" and allegedly had nothing to do with the case.

"Epstein, along with the lying 'author' Michael Wolff, conspired to harm me and/or my presidency. I've never been to Epstein's dirty island, but almost all of these fraudulent Democrats and their sponsors have," Trump said.

Afterward, Trump spoke to the media and once again denied allegations of involvement in the Epstein case.

"I have nothing to do with this. I have nothing to do with Jeffrey Epstein. In fact, if you look at the Department of Justice, they have released 3 million pages. As if that's all they have to do. I think we have other things to do," the White House chief said.
