US President Donald Trump has said that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin wants to "keep killing people". He made the statement to journalists on board Air Force One, , according to Cnews.

He reiterated that he was extremely dissatisfied with the conversation with Putin on July 3, as no progress was made in ending the war against Ukraine.

"This is a very difficult situation. I have already told you that I am very unhappy with my conversation with President Putin. He wants to go all the way, to keep killing people, it's not right," Trump said..

He also noted that the Russian dictator is aware of possible further US sanctions against Russia. According to Trump, Putin expressed concern about this, but realized that they could be imposed.
