US President Donald Trump said that Patriot missiles intended for Ukraine have already begun to be delivered to allies. He said this while talking to journalists at Andrews Military Base in Maryland, reports Reuters.

He was asked when the Patriot missiles and other weapons financed by European allies would be delivered. He replied that this is already happening.

"They come from Germany, and then they are replaced by Germany. And in all cases, the United States gets a full refund," Trump said.

He noted that the United States will not suffer any financial losses, as the EU and NATO members pay for the military aid.

"NATO will pay us for everything. In some cases, EU countries will pay us directly. We always get our money back in full," the US President emphasized .

He also noted that he has not yet spoken with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin since the announcement of possible sanctions on July 14.

The US president clarified that the US would not pay for these weapons, but would produce them.
