Defense forces have installed a Ukrainian flag in the village of Kucheriv Yar, Donetsk region. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The flag was installed in the village by soldiers of the 132nd separate reconnaissance battalion of the Air Assault Forces. They also managed to "significantly replenish" the exchange fund - several dozen Russian soldiers were captured.
It is known that the settlement is located 40 kilometers from Pokrovsk. It was captured by Russians on August 11 during a breakthrough to Dobropillia. According to the latest estimates, the population was 140-150 residents.
