It may take years for Iran to revive its nuclear program after the US strikes. This opinion was expressed by US Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff on Fox News.

According to him, it would be "almost impossible" for Iran to resume its nuclear program. Despite media reports, the strikes on nuclear facilities in Fordo, Isfahan and Natanz have deprived Tehran of the ability to produce nuclear weapons, Vitkoff said .

"All three of them have most, if not all, of their centrifuges damaged or destroyed in a way that will make it virtually impossible for them to revive this program. In my opinion, and in the opinion of many other experts who have seen the raw data, it will take years," he said .

The US special envoy called the claims that these facilities were not destroyed "absolutely absurd".

Vitkoff also said that it is necessary to bring to justice all those who leaked documents on damage assessment at the attacked facilities.

"The leak of this kind of information, whatever it is, from whatever side it comes, is outrageous. It is a betrayal. Therefore, it must be investigated. And whoever did it, whoever is responsible for it, must be brought to justice. This can harm lives in the future," he said .

According to the US special envoy, the attack on Iran's nuclear facilities will never be a "war for the sake of war," but it was a "war to achieve a goal." And the majority of Americans, he said, should be very pleased.

"I can tell you that I participated in these discussions. I have watched our commander-in-chief. He has this supernatural ability to understand exactly when to push the button and when to back off. He achieved his goal, and that was the end of it," Vitkoff emphasized .
