Ukraine expects to receive missiles for air defense systems from France and Mirage 2000-5 aircraft in the near future. About reported defense minister Mikhail Fedorov.

He spoke with French Minister of the Armed Forces Catherine Vautrin and thanked her for her support of Ukraine. The parties discussed, among other things, steps to strengthen Ukraine's air defense and counteract new technological threats.

"We are counting on the supply of ammunition from France, both for SAMP/T and Crotale air defense systems and long-range weapons. I am grateful for the readiness to transfer additional French-made missiles in the near future," said Fedorov.

They also discussed the transfer of Mirage 2000-5 aircraft. Ukraine expects additional deliveries, which will significantly enhance its air power. However, the minister did not mention any deadlines.

Fedorov also noted France's position on limiting the activities of Russia's "shadow fleet," as a reduction in resources is a key factor in less funding for the war by the enemy.

The Defense Minister invited his French counterpart to visit Ukraine and expressed his readiness to take cooperation to a new level. In particular, in the area of data exchange and joint analytics.
