Germany is ready to provide Ukraine with five PAC-3 missiles, provided that other partners provide a total of 30 such missiles. This was reported on briefing German Defense Minister said in Brussels Boris Pistorius.
"As for air defense, at the end of our session I spontaneously suggested that Germany would give Ukraine five more PAC-3 interceptor missiles if other partner countries together provide a total of 30 such missiles," Pistorius said.
"This is a matter of days, not weeks or months. So I can tell you that we are on the right track," said the German Defense Minister.
He added that we are talking about saving lives here. Pistorius emphasized that he is optimistic that the partners will achieve "30 plus five."
