The National Anti-Corruption Bureau is investigating the Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration, the press service of Kharkiv regional government reported on Wednesday.

Investigative actions are carried out in some structural subdivisions of the Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration — the leadership of the admin apparatus and in the department of agro-industrial development.

"The regional administration, for its part, cooperates comprehensively and to the greatest extent with NABU and supports its work, provides the Agency's detectives with all the requested documents and necessary information," the Kharkiv authorities said.

LIGA.net asked the press secretary of the regional governor Oleg Synegubov for a comment on the investigative actions. LIGA.net also contacted the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, who refused to comment.

The NABU reported that detectives under the procedural guidance of prosecutors of the SAPO are conducting authorized searches in Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration.

"Other details are not disclosed in order to preserve the secrecy of the pre-trial investigation," the message reads.
