New German Foreign Minister Wadefull arrives in Ukraine

The new German government's Foreign Minister Johannes Wadefuhl has arrived in Ukraine on his first visit, according to Tagesschau .

Vadeful arrived in Lviv, where an informal meeting of EU foreign ministers will take place.

In the evening of May 8, the Foreign Minister posted a video on his profile in X, announcing his arrival in Ukraine.

In his comments to journalists, he assured that Germany will continue to be among the countries that provide Ukraine with the strongest support.

"We will do what is necessary, and we will do it for as long as it takes, until Russia realizes that this war must end, that we must come to the negotiating table and that we must quickly and consistently implement the ceasefire," Wadeful said.

The Minister also noted that he plans to find out Ukraine's current needs so that further assistance can be as effective as possible.
