Russia can build up forces for war against Europe in a few years – Dutch Prime Minister
European countries should be prepared for a possible Russian attack

Russia may increase its military force on the border with Northern Europe within two to three years for a new war, Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schof said at the annual summit of the Joint Expeditionary Force (JEF), reports NOS.
He responded to reports of intensified Russian military activity near the Finnish border. In particular, the construction of new railways.
"In a few years, Russia has built up enough capabilities to start a new war, and it could well happen on the European continent," Schof said.
At the same time, he emphasized that he does not want to scare anyone and that it is not a fact that a new Russian attack, this time on Europe, will take place. However, EU countries must work hard to prevent it.
- On April 28, the WSJ reported that Russia is building up its military presence near the border with Finland.
- On May 8, it was reported that a NATO country is preparing for a Russian attack a year after the end of the war against Ukraine.
