The Cabinet of Ministers has launched the Light House program. Apartment buildings will receive up to 300,000 for generators

The government has announced the SvitloDom program, under which apartment buildings will be able to receive money online for autonomous power supply during long power outages. About said prime minister Yulia Sviridenko and Vice Prime Minister for Reconstruction of Ukraine – Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Oleksiy Kuleba.
"The government has decided to provide state aid from UAH 100,000 to UAH 300,000 for condominiums, housing and service cooperatives, managers of apartment buildings of any form of ownership for the purchase of generators, batteries, inverters and other power equipment," the Prime Minister said in a statement.
You can apply for the program online through the Diia app. Applications will be reviewed and approved by a special commission under the Ministry of Community Development.
After receiving funding, the funds must be used within 45 days.
The SvitloDom program will operate in communities where emergency situation in the energy sector. Its implementation will start in Kyiv and Kyiv region.
Payment amounts depending on the type of house:
→ UAH 300,000 – for buildings with 17 floors*; from 4 to 16 floors (with 3 or more entrances).
→ UAH 200,000 – for buildings with 7-16 floors.
→ UAH 100,000 – for buildings with up to 6 floors.
According to the program's terms, state funds can be used to purchase generators of various types (gasoline, diesel, or gas), inverters and control units for high-voltage batteries, and solar panels. People can decide what they want to buy, and there are no restrictions on the type of equipment or supplier.
