An explosion rang out in the temporarily occupied city of Melitopol, Zaporizhzhya Oblast this morning. The Russian occupation authorities report the liquidation of the collaborator Oleksandr Mishchenko, propaganda media inform.

Reportedly, Mishchenko died due to an explosion in the entrance hall of the residential building where he had lived.

He was leaving at 05:15 am when the explosive device went off. The 42-year-old collaborator then died in the hospital.

Mishchenko worked in the police, but after the occupation of Melitopol he betrayed his oath and sided with the Russians.

The occupiers say that he "helped" other employees to go over to the side of the enemy.
