Zelenskyy adds Minister Kamyshin to composition of Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has added the Minister of Strategic Industries Alexander Kamyshin to the composition of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff, according to the corresponding decree published on the website of the head of state.

The decree enters into force on the day of its publication.

The Ministry of Strategy and Industry was established in July 2020. Kamyshin became the third head of the ministry after Oleh Uruskyi and Pavlo Ryabikin, who may become the ambassador of Ukraine to China.

Kamyshin headed the state rail company Ukrzaliznytsia since August 2021, when he was appointed acting chairman of the board instead of the then-head Ivan Yuryk. He resigned at the end of February 2023.

On March 21, the Verkhovna Rada appointed Kamyshin as Minister of Strategic Industries.
