Сommanders of one of the most effective drone units receive the "Hero of Ukraine" award

Commanders of two separate brigades of unmanned systems, Oleh Huit (Hasan) and Yuriy Fedorenko (Achilles), were awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine. Relevant decrees was published on the President's website Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The Head of State conferred the title of Heroes of Ukraine and awarded the Order of the Golden Star to the commanders of the 427th Rarog Brigade and the 429th ACHILLES Brigade.

The award ceremony took place as part of the Army of Drones 2025 event.

Based on its results, the Minister of Defense Mykhailo Fedorov reported that ACHILLES and Rarog are sixth and seventh in the top 10 units that scored the highest number of e-points for hitting the targets of the Russian occupiers (full list read here).

Also on the president's website were issued decrees on honoring other defenders with state awards. In particular, the Order of merit III degree was received by former MP, commander of the unmanned systems battalion of the 63rd separate mechanized brigade Oleh Lyashko.

• During the same event, Fedorov said that in 2025, the Army of Drones project hit more than 800,000 targets, including 240,000 Russians were liquidated.
